System description:
PVC wrap tape series is a long-term UV resistance high tack joint wrap for above or below ground use, the unique product is easily applied to corrosion protection /fire passive, and water proof of straight pipes, fittings, flanges valves, bends, elbows, carbon steel pipes and insulate pipe.
Joint wrap tape be made of a stabilized PVC carrier film, coated on one sides with a permanently plastic synthetic compound on Butyl rubber compound bitumen base. 3600 is available in black.
Structure
The specification of the tape consists of three layers,
Adhesive: Butyl rubber Compound Bituminous Adhesion Promoting Resins
Film backing: Special blend of stabilized PVC
Interleaf: Anti-adhesive Film Treated with Silicone (release paper)
